Qubit rotation in QHE

چکیده

In Quantum Hall effect the ground state wave function at ν = 1 is the building block of all other states at different filling factors. It is developed by the entanglement of two spinors forming a singlet state. The inherent frustration visualized by the non-abelian matrix Berry phase is responsible for the quantum pumped charge to flow in the Hall surface. The Physics behind the Quantum Hall states is studied here from the view point of topological quantum computation.

The topological computation in QHE

We have studied the formation of Hall-qubit in Lowest Landau Level state of Quantum Hall effect due to the Aharonov-Bhom oscillation of quasiparticles. The spin echo method plays the key role in the topological entanglement of qubits. The proper ratio of fluxes for maximally entangling qubits is obtained from the concurrence. The Quantum Hall state in the hierarchies has been studied with the he...

ایجاد درگاه دوران تک-کیوبیتی هولونومیک با روش گذار بی درروی سه پایه

We propose a robust scheme, using tripod stimulated Raman adiabatic passage, to generate one-qubit rotation gate. In this scheme, a four-level atom interacts with three resonant laser pulses and time evolution of the corresponding coherent system is designed such that the rotation gate is implemented at the end of process. Rotation angle in this gate is holonomic and has a geometrical basis in ...

On Statistically-Secure Quantum Homomorphic Encryption

Homomorphic encryption is an encryption scheme that allows computations to be evaluated on encrypted inputs without knowledge of their raw messages. Recently Ouyang et al. constructed a quantum homomorphic encryption (QHE) scheme for Clifford circuits with statistical security (or information-theoretic security (IT-security)). It is desired to see whether an informationtheoretically-secure (ITS...

Suppression of error in qubit rotations due to Bloch-Siegert oscillation via the use of off-resonant Raman excitation

The rotation of a quantum bit (qubit) is an important step in quantum computation. The rotation is generally performed using a Rabi oscillation. In a direct two-level qubit system, if the Rabi frequency is comparable to its resonance frequency, the rotating wave approximation is not valid, and the Rabi oscillation is accompanied by the so-called Bloch–Siegert oscillation (BSO) that occurs at tw...

Maxwell's demon assisted thermodynamic cycle in superconducting quantum circuits.

We study a new quantum heat engine (QHE), which is assisted by a Maxwell's demon. The QHE requires three steps: thermalization, quantum measurement, and quantum feedback controlled by the Maxwell demon. We derive the positive-work condition and operation efficiency of this composite QHE. Using controllable superconducting quantum circuits as an example, we show how to construct our QHE. The ess...
